Position Summary DeGrandchamp Farms is seeking a reliable and safety-minded Farm Equipment Operator to support daily farm operations through the operation and maintenance of agricultural equipment and vehicles. This position works primarily outdoors and plays an important role in supporting seasonal farm production. Key Responsibilities Operate tractors, sprayers, forklifts, and other agricultural equipment Drive farm trucks locally as needed Clean and maintain equipment daily and report repair needs promptly Follow all food safety and workplace safety procedures Assist with seasonal farm tasks and support other departments as needed Work outdoors in varying weather conditions and extended seasonal hours when required Qualifications Previous agriculture or farm equipment experience preferred Valid driver's license required Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Dependable with consistent attendance and punctuality Ability to communicate effectively and work well with a team Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Schedule Expectations Seasonal full-time position averaging approximately 50 hours per week during peak season Some early mornings, evenings, weekends, and extended hours may be required depending on weather conditions and seasonal farm demands Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Paid overtime opportunities Seasonal full-time hours with consistent work during peak season Opportunity for returning seasonal employment based on performance and operational needs Work Environment This position works primarily outdoors and requires the ability to work in varying weather conditions including heat, dust, and uneven terrain.
