5 Agricultural Equipment Operators are needed in St. Joseph, Branch, and LaGrange Counties, Michigan, to operate equipment used in crop harvesting and farm operations. Duties include operating tractors, forklifts, buses, and other vehicles to transport crops, supplies, and workers; maintaining and repairing harvest equipment; and assisting with general farm and truck maintenance, including irrigation systems and tools. Workers transporting employees must have a valid Federal Farm Labor Contractor or Employee Registration with driving authorization and an accident-free driving record. The job requires at least 2 months of experience, the ability to follow instructions, and to work outdoors in extreme weather and field conditions. Workers must be able to bend, reach, and lift up to 75 lbs. Random drug or alcohol testing may be required at no cost to the worker. Earned Sick Time Requirement:

In accordance with applicable Michigan state law, Earned Sick Time Act 338, employers are required to provide earned sick time to employees. The amount of paid sick leave provided may vary depending on the size of the business.
