Cultivation Technician Vassar, MI 48768 From $15 an hour - Full-time From $15 an hour - Full-time Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Cannabis Cultivator Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for horticulture and experience in indoor cultivation. This role involves hands-on cultivation of cannabis plants in a indoor cultivation, ensuring optimal growth and health of the plants throughout their lifecycle. Responsibilities Cultivate Technicians will execute operations pertaining to plant care such as cloning, pruning, transplanting, up-potting, watering, feeding, trimming and inspecting plants for signs of deficiency or infestation, as well as labeling and tracking plants using METRC tags. Implement cultivation practices as indicated by supervisors and manages indoor cultivation environment. Maintain the health of immature, vegetative, and flowering plants through observation and adherence to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Ensure accuracy of plant inventory, including strain names, plant tag numbers, and counts of plants. Monitor plant health and growth conditions, adjusting care as necessary to optimize yield. Ensure the grow facility is kept free of pests, viruses, or other diseases by preventing contamination through the proper use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) . Break down and set up plant production areas after harvest, including sweeping all work areas, sanitizing crop benches, washing down rooms, and preparing to transplants new crops. Requirements Previous experience in cultivation or willing to train in cultivation and trimming. Ability to communicate clearly and accurately. Must comply with state regulations and guidelines The ability to pass a background check is required. Must be 21 years of age or older. Energetic team player, willing to take direction and learn new skills. Requires bending and lifting up to 50 lbs. Candidates must be within a 25-mile radius.
