23 Our client is a major bio-industrial organization seeking a dependable and hardworking
  • Dairy Farm Worker
  • to support daily operations in a dairy barn environment. This hands-on role involves cattle care, milking operations, feeding livestock, and assisting with general farm activities to ensure the health and productivity of the herd. Located in Elk River, MN
  • Shift:
  • 8-10 hour days Mon-Fri
  • Pay:
  • $18-23/hour
  • Responsibilities
  • + Handle and move cattle safely and efficiently throughout the facility + Operate milking equipment and perform routine milking procedures + Feed livestock according to established schedules and nutritional requirements + Monitor animal health and report any concerns to management + Clean and maintain dairy barns, feeding areas, and workspaces + Assist with general animal husbandry activities, including bedding, watering, and herd care + Support daily farm operations and perform other agricultural labor tasks as needed + Follow all farm safety, animal welfare, and biosecurity procedures Required Qualifications + High school diploma required; Bachelor's preferred + Hands-on cattle handling experience + Experience operating mobile power equipment such as tractors, skid steers, or similar farm machinery + Basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting experience + Experience milking dairy cows using automated or machine milking systems is a plus + Experience feeding livestock and performing general animal husbandry duties + Previous agricultural farm worker experience + Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work •This job description is a complete list of all desired skills, but not all are required.
