Job Description

Note:
We have 1 Sun-Wed shift and 1 Wed-Sat shift available. Position Summary The Cure/Dry Technician (CDT) will facilitate dry/trim operations and help oversee drying and curing procedures. CDT will be responsible for assisting with overseeing the day-to-day Flower Drying / Curing process of all flower products, cleaning work areas, and performing in-house testing as requested. CDT will be specifically tasked to ensure drying rooms are maintained, flower is bucked, tested, and labeled according to schedule, count, and standard. CDT will ensure all waste is documented and disposed of properly. CDT will work closely with the Cultivation and Post-Harvest team to ensure all harvest / post-harvest counts are accurate and valid. Position will report directly to the Post-Harvest Manager and Cultivation Manager/Director of Cultivation. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Responsible for confirming correct counts, fills, and compliance with nomenclature on labels applied to correct product/batch units. Responsible for personnel and bucking/trimming management to ensure all dry flower QC has been performed and persons effectively utilized in a timely manner. Ensures quality product by performing Water Activity (aW) testing and communicating results with the Post-Harvest Manager, Cultivation Manager & Director of Cultivation. Record all pertinent data and testing results in a timely, legible manner. Collects, weighs, and labels all bucked flower by strain in up to 30 lbs. batches to be brought into the cure/trim room. Work with Post-Harvest leadership to determine which flower products will be in the queue to trim according to plan. Consistently working with Cultivation Manager/Director of Cultivation and Post-Harvest Manager to ensure product is being bucked from the dry room at optimal times. Consistently working with the Post-Harvest Manager, Cultivation Manager & Director of Cultivation on developing efficiencies to help the department run smoothly in that specific area. Responsible for anticipating and trouble shooting issues that may arise with support of dept. leadership. Execute and flow internal testing process within room maximizing efficiency. Ensure responsible waste destruction is properly recorded and executed in coordination with leadership. Openly Communicates with Cultivation & Post-Harvest Leadership real time to shift staff and aid in other areas when not working with required daily tasks. Coordinate with Cultivation & Post-Harvest leadership HR staff requirements and support for Cultivation & Dry/Trim rooms. Communicates with Flower Lead / Flower Supervisor to plan for incoming Harvests Ensures Dry rooms and hangers are cleaned in between Harvests Competencies Use of Technology

Qualifications Experience using data entry software (i.e., Excel) and comfortable learning and using new software Understands compliance regulations and adheres to SOPs for specialized areas High School Diploma At least 21 years of age METRC training Strong attention to detail and communication skills Aqualab Water Activity meter training/experience Physical Requirements Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly Ability to respond quickly to sounds Ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces Ability to see and respond to dangerous situations Ability to wear personal protective gear correctly most of the day Ability to sit or stand for up to 8 hours at a time Ability to complete fine motor functions Lifting, standing, sitting, walking, bending, reaching, push/pull, repetitive use of hands, grasping use of hands, visual activity Certificates/Licenses/Registrations/Requirements Must be twenty-one (21) years or older. Able to pass background check and drug screening. Able to maintain strict confidentiality. No felony drug convictions within the previous ten (10) years. Must fully meet the licensing requirements of the White Earth Medical Cannabis Control Board and be licensed to dispense medical cannabis according to the rules and regulations promulgated by the White Earth Medical Cannabis Control Board, in accordance to the White Earth Medicinal Cannabis Code.
