As an Irrigation Service Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring the optimal performance of irrigation systems for residential and commercial clients. This hands-on position is ideal for individuals who are skilled in system start-ups, winterizations, diagnostics, repairs, and installations. Responsibilities Perform spring start-ups, including full system inspections, activation, and adjustments Complete fall shutdowns and winterizations (blowouts) to protect irrigation systems from freezing Diagnose and repair a variety of irrigation system issues efficiently Install new irrigation systems, including layout, trenching, pipe installation, valve and manifold setup, controller wiring, and head placement Repair and replace system components such as sprinkler heads, rotors, valves, solenoids, controllers, timers, wiring, and pipes Ensure proper system coverage, efficiency, and promote water conservation Communicate clearly with customers regarding system performance, repairs, and recommendations Maintain accurate service records and job notes Keep company vehicle, tools, and equipment clean and organized Qualifications Experience with irrigation system start-ups, shutdowns/winterizations, troubleshooting, repairs, and installations Strong understanding of irrigation system design and components Ability to read and interpret irrigation layouts (preferred) Valid drivers license Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions Irrigation certification (IA or similar) is a plus Experience with smart controllers and water-efficient systems (preferred) Background in landscaping or lawn care services (preferred) Compensation $27$32+ per hour (depending on experience) Benefits 401K Health insurance (after 90 days) Company vehicle provided Consistent, full-time work Opportunities for advancement and professional growth Supportive, team-oriented work environment Offered compensation: $27/hr - $32/hr Experience and License Requirements Irrigation certification (optional) Irrigation System Installation and Repair Irrigation System Winterization
