Job Description
The Opportunity Lake Leaf Cultivation offers a dynamic and engaging environment where you will have the opportunity to work in on-site cannabis cultivation through multiple stages of production. As a Trim Harvester, you play a critical role in the harvesting, trimming, and preparation of cannabis plants to ensure product quality, consistency, and compliance. This role requires versatility, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, regulated environment. You will support daily plant care activities, maintain clean and organized workspaces, and adhere to all State of Minnesota and Mille Lacs Band regulatory standards. What You Get to Do Trim Harvesters are responsible for the efficient and high-quality harvesting and trimming of cannabis plants in preparation for drying, curing, and sale. Harvest whole plants and individual branches according to SOPs and production schedules Trim cannabis plants using industry best practices to meet quality and aesthetic standards Maintain clean handling techniques and follow all company SOPs and sanitation protocols Accurately complete all required paperwork, product tracking, and inventory documentation Work quickly and efficiently to meet daily production goals and deadlines Work independently and collaboratively to complete assigned tasks Understand and operate within all regulatory compliance requirements and prohibitions Maintain personal hygiene and cleanliness of workspaces, break rooms, and shared areas Communicate effectively with teammates and leadership Maintain regular and punctual attendance Comply with all company policies and procedures Assist other cultivation functions as needed Management reserves the right to assign or reassign duties as business needs require What We Look for in a Person Serves and develops others by building relationships. What Qualifies You General production experience, preferably in a regulated industry producing goods for human consumption; or an equivalent combination of training and experience Harvesting, trimming, cannabis production, landscaping, construction, or similar hands-on experience preferred High attention to detail with strong organizational skills Knowledge of cannabis laws and regulatory requirements Must be at least 21 years of age Ability to pass a mandated background check Excellent personal hygiene Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Must Haves Strong time-management and multitasking skills Ability to stand, sit, kneel, and lift equipment or plants up to 75 lbs. for extended periods Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing, and physically demanding environment Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information Basic computer, mathematical, language, problem-solving, and reasoning skills Experience using Microsoft Office applications Basic weight and measurement skills, including operating a scale Ability to maintain regular on-site attendance Availability to work occasional weekend hours as needed Work Environment Indoor cultivation facility with controlled temperature and humidity Exposure to strong odors and varying noise levels Frequent use of sharp tools and trimming equipment Repetitive motions while standing or sitting for extended periods Strict hygiene, sanitation, and safety requirements Collaborative, team-oriented environment with cross-department communication
