Workers will operate and maintain farm equipment and vehicles including (but not limited to) combines, tractors, tillers, grain carts & elevators, sprayers, and other row crop machines. Workers will operate equipment to cultivate, harvest and seed row crops of Corn, Soybeans, and Alfalfa as well as haul crops to bins and grain elevators. Workers will load and unload trucks and grain elevators. Workers are required to have a driver's license and operate trucks to transport crops (non CDL). Workers must have 3 months of verifiable experience operating 500 hp tractors in an agricultural operation. Workers will also perform duties such as running irrigation, performing repairs, and general farm duties. Workers must maintain and repair agricultural equipment. •Hours listed are the anticipated hours to be worked. The employer may offer additional work hours, or these hours could increase or decrease based on weather conditions, crop delay, pests or disease, crop yield, available labor, and or productivity. ### Minimum Education Required None. No High School Diploma or GED required. ### Minimum Experience Required Workers must have 3 months of verifiable experience operating 500 hp tractors in an agricultural operation. Workers are required to have a driver's license and operate trucks to transport crops (non CDL). Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. Job will require exposure to extreme temperatures. Extensive pushing and pulling is required. Extensive walking or sitting is required. Frequent stooping or bending over is required. Repetitive movements are required. Use of electronic devices during work hours is restricted to emergencies only. Drug screens will be conducted upon accident or incident and will be at the cost of the employer. Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts (Updated 03/24/2025). Required work-related tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.
