Grow Finish Field Technician

Hord Farms is seeking a dependable and motivated individual to join our team as a Grow -Finish Field Technician. This position is essential in supporting animal care, barn operations, and overall herd performance in a team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily care and observation of grow-finish pigs Feeding, watering, and monitoring pig health and behavior Assisting with pig movement, loading, and unloading as needed Maintaining barn cleanliness, biosecurity, and safety standards Accurately recording production and health information Supporting animal welfare and Hord Farms production goals

Qualifications:

Swine production experience preferred (training provided) Strong work ethic with reliability and accountability Ability to work weekends and holidays as scheduled Comfortable working in a livestock environment Attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
