Rochester, Minnesota Position Summary The Cannabis Flower Cultivation Technician is responsible for supporting daily cultivation operations to produce high-quality cannabis flower. This role focuses on plant care, environmental monitoring, harvesting, and maintaining strict compliance with state regulations and company standards. Key Responsibilities Assist with all stages of cannabis plant cultivation, including propagation, vegetative growth, flowering, and harvest . Perform plant care tasks such as watering, feeding nutrients, pruning, trellising, defoliation, and transplanting . Monitor plant health and identify pests, diseases, and nutrient deficiencies . Maintain and record environmental conditions such as temperature, humidity, lighting, and irrigation schedules . Assist with harvesting, trimming, drying, and curing of cannabis flower. Maintain accurate records in compliance with state cannabis tracking systems (e.g., seed-to-sale tracking). Clean and sanitize grow rooms, tools, and equipment according to facility protocols. Follow all safety procedures and regulatory requirements for cannabis cultivation. Assist with facility tasks such as media preparation, nutrient mixing, and equipment maintenance. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Basic knowledge of plant biology or horticulture . Ability to work in a fast-paced agricultural environment. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. Must meet state legal requirements to work in a licensed cannabis facility . Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures. Ability to work rotating schedules. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in cannabis cultivation, greenhouse operations, or commercial agriculture . Knowledge of integrated pest management (IPM) practices. Familiarity with cultivation technologies such as environmental controllers, irrigation systems, or grow software . Experience with drying, curing, and post-harvest processing . Work Environment Indoor cultivation facility with high humidity, bright grow lighting, and plant odors . May require wearing protective equipment (gloves, hair nets, protective clothing). Work may include weekends or early morning shifts depending on cultivation schedule. Key Skills Attention to detail Plant care and observation Team collaboration Time management
