Summary As an Irrigation Technician, you will be essential in maintaining & enhancing landscape aesthetics through effective irrigation systems. Reporting to the Landscape Manager, your core skills in irrigation will be complemented by your mechanical knowledge & experience with hand & power tools. You will also engage in lawn care & landscape maintenance, ensuring optimal performance of systems. Requirements:
Knowledge of repairing Poly & PVC pipe. Must possess & maintain a valid Minnesota driver's license with a clean driving record Be able to lift 50 lbs of weight frequently throughout the assigned work day. Basic head repair, replace, adjust (spray, gear, impact) Basic control programming Understanding of hydraulics Basic valve repair Backflow repair (poppet, bonnet) Familiarity using multimeters Repairs irrigation mainlines up to two inches Rain sensor setup & operation
Job Skills:
Perform regular system maintenance, including starting up systems for use in warmer months; inspecting & repairing sprinkler heads, pipes, & other components; programming recommended watering schedules; & winterizing strategies to prevent damage during freezing weather. Troubleshoot & repair irrigation components & systems, including sprinkler heads, pipes, pumps, & controllers. Retrofit older systems with newer technology & install new techniques to improve water efficiency & reduce operating costs. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities & completed work orders.
Qualifications:
Valid driver's license & reliable transportation required. Able to communicate in Spanish, preferably bilingual English/Spanish.

Fertilizer Technician:
manage a full time route for properties to apply a 5 round application fertilizer and weed control program. Applicators license required, or willing to obtain training to receive a license.
Lawn maintenance position duties include:
Spring cleanups, weekly lawn mowing, shrub trimming, edging, fall cleanups, etc
