Irrigation Technician

Duties Install, troubleshoot, and repair irrigation systems using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as excavators. Conduct routine inspections of irrigation components to identify leaks, clogs, or malfunctions. Adjust sprinkler heads and valves to ensure even water distribution across landscaped areas. Perform landscape maintenance tasks including lawn care, pruning, and general landscaping duties to support healthy growth. Use construction skills to modify or upgrade existing irrigation infrastructure as needed. Maintain detailed records of system repairs, installations, and maintenance activities for operational efficiency. Collaborate with landscape teams to integrate irrigation solutions seamlessly into overall landscape design. Requirements Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience handling hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment like excavators. Strong understanding of irrigation systems, lawn care practices, and landscape maintenance techniques. Knowledge of horticulture principles to support healthy plant growth through proper watering methods. Ability to perform physical tasks including digging, lifting heavy materials, and working outdoors in various weather conditions. Prior experience with landscaping or land management is preferred but not mandatory; a willingness to learn is essential. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail for system troubleshooting and repairs. Valid driver's license; certification in irrigation or horticulture is a plus but not required.
