Job Description
Overview This role offers an opportunity to work outdoors, care for livestock, operate farm machinery, and contribute to the overall health and productivity of the ranch. We are seeking energetic individuals who are passionate about agriculture, animal husbandry, and sustainable farming practices. Responsibilities Assist with daily livestock care, including feeding, watering and health monitoring of cattle Operate and maintain farm equipment such as tractors, loaders, etc Perform equipment maintenance and welding tasks to ensure machinery remains in optimal condition Manage fencing, corrals, and pasture maintenance Conduct heavy lifting and manual labor tasks involving hand tools and heavy equipment operation Help with calving of cows and caretaking of pasture and feedlot cattle. Qualifications Prior experience in farm or ranch settings preferred Strong animal husbandry skills with a focus on animal care and handling techniques Ability to operate heavy machinery such as skidsteer and tractors Experience with welding, power tools, hand tools, and general equipment maintenance Physical stamina for lifting and outdoor labor in varying weather conditions This position is ideal for motivated individuals eager to work outdoors in a physically engaging environment while developing valuable skills in agriculture and livestock management.
