Job Description

Full Job Description
AGRONOMY APPLICATOR
— Mayview, MO Full-Time | Competitive Hourly + Overtime + Production Bonus This position is being recruited by 360 Talent Avenue on behalf of a leading Missouri-based agricultural cooperative. All inquiries and applications should be directed to 360 Talent Avenue. The harder you work, the more you earn. That's how they designed it. If you've spent time in the oil field, behind a tractor, on county roads, or anywhere that demands long days and honest work — you already have the foundation for this job. Our client is a farmer-owned cooperative serving Missouri agriculture since 1931, and they're hiring an Agronomy Applicator to join the Mayview team. You'll operate John Deere spray rigs, floater trucks, and anhydrous equipment — applying fertilizers, chemicals, lime, and anhydrous ammonia across customer fields. This is outdoor, physical work. If that's your element, you'll thrive here.
What the seasons look like:
Peak season runs September through early December and again late February through June. Long days, a lot of acres, and a production bonus that kicks in on every acre you run. An applicator running 2,000 acres in a week at the chemical rate earns an extra $800 on top of hourly wages for that week alone. Peak seasons add up fast. You're a fit if you: Have operated heavy equipment — tractor, spray rig, truck, or similar Can accurately calculate chemical mixing ratios Are self-motivated and don't need someone watching over your shoulder Hold a valid driver's license (CDL with tanker and hazmat preferred — they'll work with the right candidate) Are built for outdoor physical work and take pride in doing it well
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive hourly wage with overtime after 40 hours Production bonus: $0.40/acre for chemical and fertilizer, $0.50/acre for lime 401(k) with 4% company match + pension plan Stable, long-tenured team at a cooperative farmers have trusted for over 80 years We welcome candidates from all backgrounds including those newer to agriculture with transferable skills from other demanding industries.
