Opens a new window. 2 workers needed from 9/1/2026 - 3/1/2027. Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, and storage of crops such as working with bins and augers to load carts and trailers; Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Operate primarily John Deere tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery (much of which is equipped with GPS) such as combine, grain cart to harvest crops such as soybeans, corn; Load inputs and drive trucks to transport to fields, load crops into hopper trailers and drive trucks to transport to fields and storage facilities such as elevators, bins, silos, piles/bags; Clean work areas and maintain grounds and landscaping; Repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures; Attach implements using hand tools. While a CDL is not required for this position any worker who possesses a CDL may operate CDL equipment. Must speak and understand English. Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a drug test at no cost to the worker and be subject to the employers drug free and alcohol free workplace policy including testing protocols. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment. Employer guarantees to offer employment for a minimum of 3/4 of the workdays of the total specified period beginning with the workers first day, free housing provided to workers recruited from beyond the commuting area, transportation and subsistence expenses to the worksite will be provided or paid by the employer upon completion of 50% of the work contract or earlier.
