Production Technicians (2 Positions) Gummy Kitchen Technician Post Harvest Technician CPC of Missouri Smithville LLC - Local Cannabis Company Smithville, MO Full-Time Non-Exempt Must be 21+ to apply About Us Local Cannabis Company is a growing, locally rooted cannabis operation based in Smithville, Missouri. We are passionate about producing high-quality products and building a team that takes pride in their work. We are currently hiring for two production positions and are looking for reliable, detail-oriented individuals ready to grow with us. Position 1: Gummy Kitchen Technician Join our manufacturing kitchen team and play a hands-on role in producing our cannabis-infused edible products. You will work alongside the Kitchen Lead to ensure every batch meets our quality and compliance standards. Assist in the preparation, measuring, cooking, and packaging of cannabis-infused gummy and edible products Follow standard operating procedures and quality control measures to ensure consistent, high-quality products Sanitize and maintain all kitchen equipment, tools, cookware, and workspaces Assist with weighing, labeling, and documentation including batch numbers, lot numbers, and expiration dates Calibrate scales and balances to ensure accurate measurement of all medicated products Assist Kitchen Lead with batch production records and labels in accordance with state regulations Maintain personal hygiene standards including wearing hair nets and all required PPE Train new hires on manufacturing duties per Kitchen Lead instructions Position 2: Post Harvest Technician Join our post harvest team and play a key role in processing our cannabis flower from harvest to finished product. You will participate in all stages of the post harvest workflow in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment. Participate in all steps of post harvest processing including drying, curing, bucking, sorting, and hand trimming Hand trim a minimum of 3+ pounds per 8-hour shift Weigh, package, seal, label, and box finished cannabis products while maintaining accurate product counts Ensure all trimming equipment, tools, and machinery are functional, clean, and properly maintained Accurately weigh and store finished products and record all pertinent information in the appropriate logs Coordinate with production and cultivation teams to ensure smooth workflow and proper product handling Maintain compliance using the centralized seed-to-sale tracking system Keep work areas clean, organized, and maintained at all times Both Positions Require Must be 21 years of age or older with a valid state ID High school diploma or GED required Prior experience in cannabis production, commercial kitchen, food manufacturing, or agricultural environment preferred Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately Basic math and computer skills; comfort with measuring, weighing, and recording data Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly regulated, security-monitored environment Team player with strong communication skills and a high level of integrity Must be able to pass a background check (no violent crime or theft felonies) Ability to lift up to 75 pounds (125 pounds with assistance) and stand for extended periods Availability for evenings and weekends as business needs require What We Offer Competitive hourly wage based on experience Competitive Benefits Full-time hours Biweekly pay via direct deposit A team-oriented workplace where your contributions matter To apply, submit your resume through Indeed.
