Job Description

Job Summary Join our vibrant horticultural team as a Greenhouse Grower Assistant and play a vital role in cultivating healthy, thriving plants. This energetic position offers an exciting opportunity to work hands-on with a variety of plants, supporting the growth process from propagation to harvest. You'll assist with daily plant care, irrigation management, and greenhouse maintenance, contributing directly to the beauty and quality of our plant offerings. Duties Lead and assist production spacing and transferring of material from one range or facility to the other Irrigating and mixing fertilizer, and checking water quality Mechanical pinching, MBR, disbud, center-bud, zero bud duties when required Measuring and note taking for crop quality reports Scouting for pests (disease, insects, and weeds) and following the direction of the Section Grower to prevent or cure. Assist with the application of agriculture-based chemicals as assigned by the Section Grower. Accountable to upkeep in the assigned section (general cleaning and removal of debris). Daily order fulfillment (when finished with other work) Experience Experience in Horticulture Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time Able to work in extreme temperatures Able to lift 50lbs Able to communicate and lead effectively in a team setting. Able to work flexible hours and accountable for weekends. Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
