Livestock Caretaker

Responsibilities Provide attentive animal husbandry care, including feeding, watering, and health monitoring for various livestock species. Operate heavy machinery and farm equipment such as tractors and power tools to support daily farm operations. Conduct routine inspections of fencing, housing structures, and equipment to ensure safety and functionality. Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks including welding, equipment repair, and use of hand tools to keep farm infrastructure in top condition. Manage heavy lifting tasks involving feed bags, supplies, or livestock handling equipment with proper safety procedures. Experience Prior supervising experience in agricultural or farm settings is highly desirable. Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair, welding, or maintenance work. Strong background in animal husbandry with specific expertise in livestock or equine care. Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts and other farm machinery safely and effectively.

Pay:
