Job Description

USCS LLC
is hiring Grounds Maintenance Workers for a federal government contract at Columbus Air Force Base, Columbus, MS starting October 1, 2026. What you'll do: Mow, trim, and edge improved grounds across a large military installation Operate commercial zero-turn mowers and hand equipment Maintain fence lines, drainage ditches, athletic fields, and vegetative beds Work as part of a crew under a Lead Foreman Document daily work with photos and logs
Requirements:
Valid Mississippi driver's license Clean background (federal base access required — no felony convictions) US citizen or authorized to work in the US Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions Reliable transportation to Columbus AFB daily No experience required — will train the right person
Schedule:
Full-time, 40 hours/week peak season April through October primary season Some off-season hours available November through March Monday through Friday, start time approximately 7:00 AM Position is contingent on contract award — anticipated start date October 1, 2026.
