This energetic role offers the opportunity to work outdoors in a fast-paced setting, contributing to the growth of crops and the well-being of farm animals. You will be responsible for performing essential farming activities, operating machinery, and ensuring the health and safety of livestock and crops. If you're passionate about agriculture, possess mechanical skills, and enjoy hands-on work, this position is perfect for you! Duties Care for farm animals (horses, cows, etc) by feeding, cleaning enclosures, and monitoring health through animal husbandry practices Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, tractors, and irrigation systems safely and efficiently Perform equipment repairs and maintenance to ensure all machinery functions optimally Manage animal handling tasks including loading/unloading livestock and providing basic veterinary care when needed Maintain cleanliness of barns, greenhouses, and work areas to promote a safe environment Support growing operations in greenhouses or outdoor fields by pruning, transplanting, and monitoring plant health Qualifications Prefer prior supervising experience or leadership skills in a farm or agricultural setting Mechanical knowledge with experience in equipment repair and heavy machinery operation Hands-on experience with animal husbandry and animal care practices Ability to operate forklifts, power tools, hand tools, and other farm machinery safely Physical ability for heavy lifting and outdoor labor in various weather conditions Basic math skills for measurements, inventory tracking, and record keeping Strong understanding of animal handling procedures and farming best practices Excellent communication skills to work effectively within a team environment Embark on a rewarding career where your hands-on skills make a tangible difference!
