Job Description

Service Technician for Ag Irrigation 210 Arden Drive, Belgrade, MT 59714 From $25 an hour
  • Full-time From $25 an hour
  • Full-time AquaTech is an agricultural irrigation company serving southwest Montana based in Belgrade.
Products that we sell and service include center pivots, centrifugal and turbine pumps, wheel lines, and other irrigation products for area farmers and ranchers. We have been in business since 1987 and are currently looking to add an additional service technician to our team. The service technician job is as follows: Ability to troubleshoot Ag irrigation systems o Products will include center pivots, pumps, pump panels, diesel units, VFD controls, electronic panels, GPS systems, and corner machines o This includes both the electric systems and mechanical components o Specific product training is provided by AquaTech and factory training from our suppliers Work safely with 480 Volt and 120 Volt power Wire and install the various irrigation components in the field Be able to interact with customers to understand equipment issues and to communicate solutions with them Job includes working long hours in the irrigation season and outdoors in various weather Qualifications needed include Ability to lift 140 pounds Must work well with others Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
  • CDL a plus but not required Be able to handle varied tasks from high tech equipment troubleshooting to digging trenches Farm or ranch experience is also a plus but not required Compensation Starting hourly pay of $27
  • $30+ depending on experience

5 hourly wage after 40 hours AquaTech works on 10 hour day basis and work 4-10's in the off season Paid vacation, holidays, medical plan, profit sharing, and 401k with matching is available after probation periods Company vehicle
