Cannabis Concentrate Post-Processing Technician Montana Kush -
Full-Time Position Pay:
26/hr+ DOE (Depending on Experience) Montana Kush is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cannabis Concentrate Post-Processing Technician to join our extraction and manufacturing team. This position is responsible for all post-processing activities related to cannabis concentrates, including distillation, cartridge production, hardware sourcing, product development, and quality control. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a regulated cannabis environment and possess a strong understanding of cannabis extraction and vaporization technology. ResponsibilitiesDistillation & Concentrate Processing Operate and maintain short-path, wiped-film, or other distillation equipment. Perform post-processing of cannabis extracts into finished products. Monitor production runs and maintain detailed batch records. Ensure products meet potency, purity, and quality specifications. Follow all state regulations, SOPs, and safety protocols. Cartridge Filling & Manufacturing Formulate distillate blends for vape cartridges and disposable devices. Operate cartridge filling equipment and maintain production efficiency. Manage cartridge production schedules and inventory requirements. Troubleshoot filling equipment and production issues. Conduct quality assurance checks on finished products. Hardware Procurement & Vendor Management Research, evaluate, and source vape cartridge and disposable hardware. Build and maintain relationships with hardware suppliers and manufacturers. Manage hardware inventory levels and ordering schedules. Negotiate pricing and ensure timely delivery of production materials. Stay informed on new technologies and industry trends. Research & Development Test and evaluate new hardware, formulations, and production methods. Design and execute product performance testing. Identify and resolve issues related to clogging, leaking, flavor degradation, and hardware failures. Develop and document SOPs for new products and processes. Collaborate with management on product innovation and new launches. Compliance & Documentation Maintain accurate production, inventory, and compliance records. Ensure all products are manufactured in accordance with Montana regulations. Assist with audits, inspections, and inventory reconciliations. Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and sanitation standards. Qualifications Experience in cannabis extraction, distillation, cartridge filling, or related manufacturing preferred. Strong understanding of cannabis concentrates and vape hardware. Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Experience with inventory management and purchasing. Ability to analyze data and make process improvements. Excellent organizational and documentation skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a production environment. Must meet all Montana cannabis industry employment requirements. Preferred Qualifications Experience with short-path distillation systems. Familiarity with METRC and cannabis compliance requirements. Experience with product formulation and terpene blending. Background in manufacturing, chemistry, engineering, or related fields. What We're Looking For Self-motivated and highly organized.
