Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Irrigation Technician to join our dynamic landscape maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining irrigation systems across various properties. Your expertise will ensure that landscapes receive optimal water distribution, promoting healthy growth and sustainability. Duties Install, troubleshoot, and repair irrigation systems using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as excavators when necessary Conduct regular inspections of irrigation components to identify leaks, clogs, or malfunctions and perform timely repairs Adjust sprinkler heads and valves to ensure even water coverage across lawns and landscaped areas Assist with landscape maintenance activities such as planting, pruning, mulching, and soil preparation Operate construction equipment safely during installation or repair projects while adhering to safety protocols Maintain detailed records of work performed, system layouts, and repair logs for ongoing system management Qualifications Proven mechanical knowledge with experience working on irrigation systems or similar mechanical equipment Familiarity with landscaping practices including lawn care and landscape maintenance techniques Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment such as excavators safely and efficiently Knowledge of horticulture principles related to plant health and landscape aesthetics Strong understanding of irrigation components like valves, controllers, pipes, sprinklers, and timers Experience working in outdoor environments with varying weather conditions Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to repairs and system optimization Join us in creating lush landscapes that inspire!
