Your expertise will help customers select the right products, provide valuable advice, and ensure they leave inspired and satisfied. Whether assisting with lawn care, landscape maintenance, or livestock supplies, you'll play a vital role in creating a welcoming environment that fosters growth and success for both our customers and your career. Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service by assisting shoppers with product selections related to horticulture, livestock, and outdoor living. Offer expert advice on gardening techniques, landscape maintenance, floral design, and livestock care to help customers achieve their outdoor goals. Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately for transactions including cash handling and retail math calculations. Stock shelves efficiently by organizing merchandise, replenishing inventory, and ensuring products are well-presented to enhance the shopping experience. Support merchandising efforts by setting up displays that highlight seasonal plants, gardening tools, livestock supplies, and related products. Maintain organized stockrooms and ensure all products meet safety and quality standards. Assist with e-commerce orders by picking items accurately and preparing them for delivery or pickup when applicable. Communicate effectively with team members across departments to ensure smooth store operations and excellent customer service. Requirements Proven knowledge of lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, floral design or horticulture practices. Experience working in retail sales environments with familiarity in POS systems and cash handling procedures. Strong organizational skills to manage stocking, merchandising, and inventory control efficiently. Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and delivering outstanding customer service. Basic understanding of retail math for transactions and sales reporting purposes. Passion for animals or livestock care is preferred but not required; willingness to learn about livestock products is essential.
