Farm Supervisor

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Farm Supervisor to lead daily operations on our farms. In this role, you will oversee farm activities, manage a team of farm workers, ensure the proper care of crops, and maintain equipment to uphold the highest standards of productivity. Responsibilities Supervise daily farm activities, including planting, harvesting, and equipment operation. Lead and motivate farm staff to achieve operational goals while maintaining safety standards. Operate and maintain farm machinery and heavy equipment, including tractors, irrigation systems, forklifts, and power tools. Perform routine equipment repairs, welding, maintenance checks, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance. Implement farming best practices related to horticulture, greenhouse management, irrigation systems, and growing techniques. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment for all team members. Qualifications Proven supervising experience in an agricultural or farm setting. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair and maintenance. Ability to operate heavy machinery such as forklifts, tractors, and other farm equipment safely. Familiarity with horticulture, greenhouse operations, irrigation systems, and growing processes. Experience with welding, power tools, hand tools, and general maintenance tasks. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations related to farming activities, and record keeping. $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
