Hog/Swine Caretaker/Herdsperson Farmer Whiteville, NC 28472 Full-time Full-time This job will include checking the hogs daily for any injuries, signs of illness, the administration of vaccinations and medications, and checking to be sure that the feed, water, and ventilation systems in each house are operating properly. Assist in moving animals and maintaining efficient animal flow. Maintain accurate feed inventories to ensure pigs don't go without feed. Follow the Company's animal welfare policies and procedures. Treat sick animals Removal of dead hogs Assist with grounds maintenance. Use high-pressure equipment to sanitize and wash multiple areas on the farm. May operate some farm equipment, i.e. mowers, tractors etc.
