Temporary assignment at an agricultural research center responsible for assisting scientists and technicians in processes of a livestock research program. Position requires diverse skills with major responsibilities to include grounds maintenance activities, facility maintenance, livestock care and data collection, and equipment operation.Responsibilities:
Assistance with animal care, weighing, sorting, and moving cattle; mowing and grounds maintenance; facility maintenance including fencing and pen cleaning; and assisting with haying operations.Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8 AM to 5 PMAdvertised Pay:
Commensurate with experience. Pay is based on several factors, including budget, labor market, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and/or certification and other business considerations.Minimum Qualifications:
Willingness to be timely to work schedule and desire to put forth consistent and full work days. The experience or demonstrated ability to learn the skills necessary to operate specialized research equipment and follow written and verbal instructions. Detail orientated, ability to maintain focus on task.
