Duties Assist with daily animal care-taking tasks including feeding, watering, cleaning enclosures, and monitoring animal health and behavior Operate and maintain farm machinery such as tractors, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently Perform equipment repairs and welding as needed to ensure smooth operation of tools and machinery Support planting, growing, harvesting crops, using hand tools, power tools, and horticultural techniques Conduct general farm maintenance including fencing repairs, equipment inspections, and cleaning work areas Handle heavy lifting tasks safely while maintaining proper ergonomics during daily operations Skills Supervising experience in farm or agricultural settings preferred but not required Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and repairing farm equipment and machinery Strong animal husbandry skills with experience in cow/calf care and handling across various species including horses (equine experience) Proficiency in operating heavy equipment, power tools, hand tools, and other farm machinery safely Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently while maintaining safety standards Excellent communication skills for teamwork and safety procedures awareness Willingness to learn new skills related to farming practices and equipment maintenance We are a smoke-free and drug-free establishment This position is ideal for energetic individuals passionate about agriculture who want to develop their skills in a supportive environment.
