Job Description
Job Summary Walbrecht Farm & Cattle is a family owned and operated diversified row crop, beef and show cattle operation. Headquartered right outside of Lincoln city limits, we have an array of farming and pastural ground across Lancaster and surrounding counties. We are seeking an experienced Farm Hand to join our team to help us with day to day operations, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities Feed cattle according to established feeding protocols. Assist with cattle processing, vaccinations, and herd health procedures. Assist with reproductive and calving operations. Clean and maintain livestock facilities, pens, and working areas. Operate farm machinery safely and responsibly. Perform routine equipment inspections and maintenance. Travel to livestock shows and sales as necessary. Qualifications Experience working with livestock, particularly beef cattle. Experience operating farm equipment and machinery. Basic mechanical and maintenance skills. Strong work ethic and attention to detail. Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various weather conditions. Valid driver's license. CDL preferred. Show cattle experience preferred. Pay will be based on experience.
