Irrigation Technician

Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, and repair irrigation systems using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as excavators when necessary Conduct routine inspections of irrigation components to identify leaks, clogs, or malfunctions and perform timely repairs Adjust watering schedules based on seasonal needs, weather conditions, and client specifications Operate construction equipment safely during installation or repair projects Maintain detailed records of work performed, system layouts, and parts used for each project Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient project completion and uphold safety standards Requirements Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in irrigation systems or related fields Familiarity with landscaping, lawn care, and horticulture principles Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment such as excavators safely and effectively Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose system issues quickly Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with customers. Ability to work alone or with other team members.
