Job Overview Join our team at Riverside Fertilizer as an Ag Chem Sprayer/Floater Operator. Trotter Inc. is seeking an experienced Applicator / Sprayer OR an experienced Farm Individual to operate a sprayer and machinery to apply liquid and dry products to Ag grower fields located in Scotia, Nebraska. This job can be a full time permanent year round job, or seasonal each year. Salary Range - $20.00 to $27.00 DOE Benefits for full time permanent employees: 401k, paid health insurance/life insurance/vision insurance. Colonial supplemental insurance, PTO, paid training, flex plan, paid holidays, Paid Sick Leave. This position are based in a nice community to raise a family with good schools and opportunities. Pay will be determined by experience. This is an excellent opportunity for a long-term position or a part time seasonal. Home every night. Great pay/benefit package for full time permanent employees. Duties Operate agricultural sprayers and floaters equipped with precision application technology to deliver chemicals accurately over designated fields Prepare and calibrate spraying equipment to ensure proper coverage and adherence to safety standards Follow all safety protocols related to chemical handling, pesticide application, and equipment operation Maintain detailed records of chemical applications, equipment maintenance, and field activities for compliance and reporting purposes Skills Strong knowledge of agricultural practices including pest control, lawn care, farming techniques, and land management CDL and Chemical applicator license preferred, but we can train the right person. Experience operating farm machinery such as sprayers, floaters, tractors, and other heavy equipment Ability to handle hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently in outdoor environments Valid driving license with clean driving record for operating farm vehicles and machinery on public roads or farm property. CDL preferred Excellent attention to detail for calibrating equipment and ensuring precise chemical application Good physical stamina for outdoor work in varying weather conditions Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and follow safety instructions
Pay:
$20.00 - $27.00 per hour
