Job Summary Join our dynamic landscaping and horticulture team as a Crew Member dedicated to transforming outdoor spaces into vibrant, functional, and beautiful environments. In this energetic role, you will assist with a variety of landscape maintenance tasks, including lawn care, planting, tree trimming, and hardscape installation. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help ensure our clients' outdoor areas are healthy, attractive, and well-maintained. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in landscaping, gardening, and construction while working outdoors in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Perform lawn care duties such as mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aerating to keep turf healthy and visually appealing Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including pruning, tree trimming, planting, and mulching to promote plant health and aesthetics Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks like digging, edging, and installing hardscape features such as patios or walkways Support irrigation system installation and maintenance to ensure proper watering of landscapes Help with snow plowing and removal during winter months to maintain safe access for clients Conduct routine landscape inspections to identify issues requiring repair or attention Assist with construction projects involving hardscape installation or landscape redesigns under supervision Skills Mechanical knowledge for operating equipment such as excavators, power tools, and lawn machinery Experience with lawn care practices including mowing, fertilizing, aeration, and weed control Strong understanding of landscape maintenance techniques and horticulture principles Ability to use hand tools effectively and safely for various landscaping tasks Knowledge of tree care practices including trimming and pruning techniques Familiarity with irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting Ability to perform gardening tasks such as planting, mulching, and soil preparation Experience with snow plowing equipment during winter seasons Basic construction skills for installing hardscape features like patios or retaining walls Good physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions Strong teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their expertise in landscaping and horticulture while contributing to beautiful outdoor environments.
