Summary:
The Cultivation Technician II reports directly to the Cultivation Manager and plays a critical role in executing daily cultivation operations. You will perform hands-on tasks throughout the plant lifecycle, help maintain optimal growing conditions, guide junior team members, and support compliance with internal SOPs and external regulations.
Responsibilities:
Perform cloning, pruning, defoliation, trellising, topping, feeding, and plant health monitoringAssist in harvesting, trimming, drying, curing, and storing cannabisMaintain and troubleshoot irrigation systemsMonitor and adjust environmental factors such as temperature, humidity, and lightingApply preventative sprays and assist with Integrated Pest Management (IPM)Ensure cultivation SOPs and state regulations are followedDocument and maintain detailed cultivation recordsGuide and support junior cultivation staffMaintain high standards for cleanliness and safety in all cultivation spacesOperate and maintain cultivation tools and equipmentParticipate in inventory checks and quality control proceduresSuggest improvements to increase yield or efficiencyUphold company cultural values and core principles
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be 21 years of age (or 18 in NY)High School diploma or equivalent requiredAt least 3 years of relevant horticulture, agriculture, or cannabis cultivation experienceVocational or academic background in plant sciences preferredKnowledge of cannabis strains, growth cycles, and regulatory complianceValid Driver's License and reliable transportationBackground check requiredExcellent organizational and analytical skillsProficient oral and written communicationAbility to work both independently and collaborativelyGreen Flower and/or Ganjier Certificate holder preferred.
Physical & Environmental Requirements:
Able to work up to 10 hours/day with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidaysCapable of lifting/pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs alone or 100 lbs with assistanceRegularly required to sit, stand, bend, squat, kneel, and climb ladders (up to 12 ft)Work conditions include exposure to dust, odors, heat, humidity, cold, noise, and chemicalsFrequent computer and phone use; must manage frequent interruptions
Starting Rate:
$20.50 Management reserves the right to assign other job duties as necessary.
