Nursery / Tree Farm Laborer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable, hard-working nursery/tree farm employee to join our team. This is a physically demanding role involving planting and harvesting trees and shrubs, loading/unloading trucks, greenhouse maintenance, and general farm labor.

Key Responsibilities:

Plant, transplant, and harvest trees, shrubs, and container stock Load and unload trucks, trailers, and pallets safely and efficiently Operate hand tools, wheelbarrows, and basic farm equipment Assist with irrigation setup and routine plant watering Weed, clean, and maintain greenhouses and growing areas Prune and trim plants as directed Follow all safety procedures and maintain work areas Perform other farm tasks as needed (mulching, staking, labeling)

Qualifications:

Prior nursery, landscaping, or farm experience needed. Plant Knowledge. Willingness to perform hard physical labor in all weather conditions Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand/walk/bend for long periods Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team Basic equipment experience (hand tools, pallet jacks, loaders) a plus Valid driver's license preferred

Work Schedule:

Typical hours: Mon-Fri, 7:00 AM-5:00 PM & Saturday 7:00 AM-4:00 PM Seasonal flexibility required How to
