Cannabis Manufacturing Technician Pennington, NJ Job Details Full-time From $20 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Laboratory instruments Interpersonal skills Inventory management Machine operation Basic math Equipment troubleshooting Manufacturing standard operating procedures Attention to detail Batch records Industrial equipment Production documentation Full Job Description The Edibles Production Technician supports the manufacturing and packaging of infused edible products at Stone Hill Manufacturing. This role works collaboratively within the production team to ensure products are manufactured on schedule, meet quality standards, and comply with all applicable regulatory and company requirements. All products are manufactured and packaged in accordance with applicable state regulations and Stone Hill Manufacturing's standard operating procedures. Responsibilities Collaborate with the production team to complete all tasks required for the manufacturing and packaging of infused products, including all manufactured products Perform manual to semi-automatic manufacturing and packaging activities, including wet and dry weigh-and-fill operations Operate production equipment such as agitators, dispensers, labeling systems, and machinery Utilize commercial kitchen and processing equipment, including mixers, kettles, depositors, heating and cooling tables, and related production tools Perform weigh-and-dispense activities for finished products, active ingredients, raw materials, and excipients Accurately document all manufacturing activities in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Maintain clean, organized, and compliant manufacturing and facility spaces Complete and maintain equipment, room, and sanitation logs Perform minor equipment adjustments and basic preventative maintenance as assigned Use inventory management systems or other mandated tracking systems as required Communicate daily and effectively with the Manufacturing Manager or Supervisor Maintain required training status and documentation in accordance with company policies Actively support workplace safety initiatives and continuous improvement efforts Core Competencies Technical thinking and analytical problem-solving Ethical conduct and professionalism Strong verbal and written communication skills Results-driven with strong attention to detail Work Environment The role frequently involves exposure to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, vibration, and moderate to high noise levels Production areas require adherence to safety, sanitation, and regulatory requirements Required Experience Minimum of 1 year of experience preferred in one or more of the following environments: Regulated manufacturing (cannabis, food, pharmaceutical, or nutraceutical) GMP manufacturing and/or packaging Chemical processing or laboratory environments Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) Demonstrated attention to detail, including strict adherence to SOPs, batch records, labeling, hygiene, safety, and material status controls Ability to accurately operate laboratory equipment Ability to follow written instructions and procedures precisely Ability to quickly learn equipment setup, operation, controls, and basic troubleshooting Professional demeanor when interacting with coworkers, management, and regulatory inspectors Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position Position Type and Expected Work Hours Full-time position - $20/hour competitive hourly pay Overtime and weekend work may be required based on operational needs Physical Demands This position requires standing and walking for extended periods Frequent bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing Must be able to lift and/or move items weighing 50 pounds or more Work Authorization and Background Requirements Must be legally authorized to work in the United States Successful completion of background check Equal Employment Opportunity Statement Stone Hill Manufacturing is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
