Job Description

Florent Labs is a NJ-CRC and MA-licensed cannabis manufacturer producing concentrates, vape cartridges, and infused pre-rolls out of our Roselle facility. We run hydrocarbon extraction as our primary process, with ethanol and downstream post-processing supporting our finished-goods lineup. We're hiring a Junior Extraction Technician to grow into our extraction floor. You don't need years of hydrocarbon experience — you need to be steady, safety-minded, willing to learn fast, and serious about a career in cannabis manufacturing. We'll teach you the rest. You'll report directly to the General Manager and work alongside our lead extractor and production team. What you'll be doing Assist with closed-loop hydrocarbon and ethanol extraction runs from biomass loading through post-processing Operate, clean, and maintain extraction equipment — columns, collection vessels, recovery pumps, vacuum ovens, rotovaps Produce a full range of finished goods: vape cartridges, pre-rolls, infused specialty pre-rolls, and concentrates Weigh, portion, and package flower to spec for retail-ready SKUs Run finished-goods equipment — cart-filling machines, pre-roll cones/cone-fillers, infusion stations, and packaging lines Follow SOPs to the letter — batch records, weight checks, COA prep, deviation logs Maintain a spotless, audit-ready floor (METRC compliance, GMP standards, NJ-CRC regs) Stage, weigh, and label inputs and outputs accurately Spot problems early and escalate to the lead or GM Keep yourself and your team safe in a Class I, Division 1 environment What we're looking for Required 21+ years old Eligible to obtain a NJ-CRC cannabis employee badge in accordance with New Jersey cannabis regulations Able to lift 50+ lbs and stand on your feet for an 8-hour shift Reliable transportation to Roselle for an AM start Comfortable working with solvents, PPE, and industrial extraction equipment after traini Detail-oriented — you can follow a 12-step SOP without skipping step 7 High school diploma or GED You stand out if you have any of these (not required) Any prior cannabis facility experience — extraction, packaging, infusion, trim, cultivation, dispensary back-of-house Hands-on experience with finished-goods equipment such as Cart Farms, Thomson Duke, or Vape Jet 4.0 Experience producing pre-rolls, infused pre-rolls, or hash holes at any scale Lab, food/beverage manufacturing, pharma packaging, or chemical processing background OSHA 10 or 30 Forklift certification Familiarity with METRC, batch records, or GMP documentation Math comfort with weights, percentages, and yield calculations What we offer $19.00 - $21.50/hr depending on experience (up to $45,000/yr annualized) Day shift, Monday-Friday (occasional Saturday during peak production) Paid time off and holidays Hands-on training across hydrocarbon, ethanol, and finished-goods production — a real path into a senior extractor seat Direct mentorship from a working GM and lead extractor — not a corporate org chart Employee discount program where permitted by applicable regulations A small, focused team where your work actually shows up in the finished product
Logistics Location:
Roselle, NJ (Union County) — on-site only, no remote
Schedule:
Day shift, full-time, ~40 hrs/week with occasional
