Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Packaging Technician to join our team at Blue Whale Enterprises, a licensed cannabis cultivation facility. The Packaging Technician is responsible for weighing, packaging, and labeling cannabis flower products with precision and care to ensure compliance with regulatory standards, product quality, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Weighing & Packaging Accurately weigh cannabis flower products using precision scales to meet specified weight requirements. Package products in pre-determined quantities, ensuring consistency and compliance with company and regulatory guidelines. Labeling & Quality Control Apply accurate and legible labels to all packaged products, including strain information, weight, and required compliance labels. Inspect products for quality standards, including proper curing, trimming, and overall appearance. Inventory Management Maintain accurate records of packaging quantities and materials used. Assist with monitoring inventory levels of packaging supplies and communicate replenishment needs. Compliance & Safety Adhere to all state and local cannabis regulations, including tracking and recording all products in compliance with seed-to-sale software systems. Follow strict sanitation and safety protocols to maintain a clean and organized workspace. Team Collaboration Work closely with cultivation, processing, and compliance teams to meet daily production goals. Communicate effectively with supervisors to resolve any issues related to packaging or product quality.
Qualifications:
Valid State-Issued Driver's License. 21 years of age or older. Valid food handlers permit. Satisfactory Background check

Work Experience Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent Prior experience in packaging or manufacturing, preferably in the cannabis industry, is a plus. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to perform repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy and focus. Basic computer proficiency for record-keeping and inventory tracking.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to generally stand, bend, walk, stoop, and kneel for prolonged periods, and sit occasionally. Must be able to stand/walk for up to 8 hours at a time. Must be able to sit for up to 8 hours at a time. Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds safely and properly. Ability to work in a stressful, fast-paced environment.
Schedule:
