Cultivation Technician

Key Responsibilities:

Support Cultivation Manager:

Assist the Cultivation Manager in overseeing all stages of cannabis cultivation, including cloning, transplanting, feeding, defoliation, topping, flushing, trimming, and harvesting.

Team Supervision:

Help manage and train cultivation staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Quality Control:

Monitor plant health and development, implement best practices for pest management, nutrient delivery, and environmental control.

Compliance:

Ensure compliance with all state and local regulations regarding cannabis cultivation, including accurate record-keeping and reporting.

Daily Operations:

Assist in the daily operations of the cultivation facility, including maintaining lighting, irrigation, and HVAC systems to ensure optimal growing conditions.

Inventory Management:

Assist in managing inventory of cultivation supplies, including nutrients, growing mediums, and equipment.

Data Collection:

Track and record cultivation data to support continuous improvement processes and enhance plant performance.

Research & Development:

Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in cultivation technology and assist in implementing new techniques and strategies to improve crop quality and yield.

Health & Safety:

Promote and maintain a safe working environment by adhering to all health and safety guidelines and protocols.

Qualifications:

Experience:

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in cannabis cultivation, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or assistant managerial role.

Knowledge:

Solid understanding of cannabis cultivation techniques, including hydroponics, soil, and organic growing methods.

Leadership:

Strong ability to support and supervise a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Compliance:

Knowledge of state and local cannabis regulations and compliance requirements.

Skills:

Proficiency in using cultivation software and environmental control systems.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods, and working in various environmental conditions.
