Cultivation Technician

Position Overview:

As a General Cultivation Technician in the cannabis industry, you will play a crucial role in the cultivation and maintenance of cannabis crops. This position involves a variety of tasks, including planting, harvesting, irrigation, and general upkeep of the cultivation facility. The ideal candidate is hardworking, detail-oriented, and dedicated to maintaining high-quality cannabis products.

Key Responsibilities:

Planting and Harvesting:

Assist with the planting and harvesting of cannabis crops according to established procedures. Ensure proper handling and care of plants during all stages of growth.

Irrigation and Watering:

Monitor and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper hydration of cannabis plants. Follow watering schedules and adjust as needed based on plant requirements.

Cultivation Tasks:

Perform general cultivation tasks, including pruning, trimming, and training plants as needed. Monitor plant health and report any signs of pests, diseases, or abnormalities.

Facility Maintenance:

Contribute to the overall cleanliness and organization of the cultivation facility. Assist in routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, sanitizing, and repairing equipment.

Compliance and Record Keeping:

Adhere to all regulatory requirements related to cannabis cultivation. Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including planting and harvesting logs as requested by the Farm manager.

Team Collaboration:

Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient farm operations. Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers to coordinate tasks.

Health and Safety:

Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment. Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), if required.

Qualifications:

Age Requirement:

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Cannabis Establishment Agent Card:

Ability to obtain and maintain a Nevada Cannabis Establishment Agent Card issued by the Nevada Cannabis Compliance Board (CCB).

Experience:

Previous experience in farm labor or agriculture is preferred. Basic knowledge of cannabis cultivation practices is a plus.

Compliance Knowledge:

Familiarity with Nevada CCB laws, the METRC system, and FDA guidelines preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods in various weather conditions. Attention to

Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to maintain accurate documentation.

Working Conditions:

Work is conducted in a regulated cannabis cultivation facility with varying temperature conditions. Must be comfortable handling cannabis products and adhering to CCB and FDA regulations. Flexibility to work weekends and overtime as needed.
