In this energetic position, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and troubleshooting irrigation systems to ensure optimal water efficiency and plant health. Your hands-on skills and knowledge of horticulture will help transform outdoor spaces into vibrant, thriving environments. Duties Install, inspect, and repair irrigation systems to ensure proper watering coverage and efficiency Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with irrigation components such as valves, controllers, pipes, and sprinklers Perform routine landscape maintenance including lawn care, pruning, fertilizing, and planting Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery such as excavators for system installation or repairs Conduct landscape assessments to determine irrigation needs and recommend improvements Maintain detailed records of work performed, system layouts, and parts used for future reference Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety standards Requirements Strong mechanical knowledge with experience working on irrigation systems and related equipment Familiarity with landscaping practices including lawn care, horticulture, and general landscape maintenance Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively Experience operating construction machinery such as excavators is a plus Knowledge of landscaping principles and horticultural techniques to support healthy plant growth Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety protocols Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to system troubleshooting This position is ideal for motivated individuals eager to develop their expertise in irrigation technology while contributing to beautiful outdoor environments.
