Job Description
Overview Assists in performing custodial and various farm duties in an indoor and outdoor setting, as assigned by the supervisor. Responsibilities Primary duties and responsibilities include but not limited to: Notifies supervisor of problems/difficulties in performing job duties. Cleaning out pens/paddocks and facilities. Feeding and caring for livestock (goats, sheep, pig, horses, chickens, ducks, etc.) and small animals. Moving and refilling feed, hay, and other supplies and materials. Assisting with general property maintenance — pruning plants, snow removal, moving compost, etc. Tending gardens on property — planting, weeding, harvesting, spreading mulch, watering, etc. Performs additional related duties as requested by supervisor. Qualifications Ability to perform medium to heavy manual labor, with ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to understand instructions given by supervisor. Flexible; able to accept changes in job duties. Physical aspects may include but are not limited to lifting up to 50lbs.
