Mondays and Tuesdays, 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM (8 hours per week) About Agrarian Feast Farm Come grow with us! Agrarian Feast Farm is a year-round organic microgreen and specialty mushroom farm located in Livingston Manor, New York. We believe in fresh, healthy, local, high-quality organic food, and we do our best every day to grow it and deliver it throughout the Catskills and NYC. We are an innovative, growing business looking for the right person to join our dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about indoor farming, plant care, mushroom cultivation, and sustainable agriculture from the ground up. Job Responsibilities In this role, you will assist with daily farm operations, focusing primarily on mushroom production.
Duties include:
Picking, sorting, and packing specialty mushrooms with care and precision. Preparing and making mushroom substrate bags. Assisting with various other aspects of mushroom cultivation. Maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment. Qualifications and Requirements We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented team player who takes pride in their work. The ideal candidate meets the following criteria:
Physically Fit and Energetic:
This is a highly active role. You must be able to work on your feet for the entire 4-hour shift and comfortably carry heavy supplies and equipment.
Detail-Oriented and Efficient:
Ability to follow detailed directions accurately while maintaining a strong sense of urgency.
Self-Motivated:
Works exceptionally well as part of a team but is equally productive when working independently.
Passionate:
An interest in local food systems, agriculture, or indoor farming is a big plus!
