Job Description
A well-established, family-owned farm operation in the Finger Lakes region is seeking a dependable, hands-on Farm Hand to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, operating equipment, and taking ownership of day-to-day farm operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate a variety of farm equipment including tractors, planters, sprayers, and harvest equipment
Assist with planting, spraying, harvesting, and general crop production activities
Perform routine maintenance and basic mechanical repairs on equipment
Support grain handling, loading/unloading, and facility upkeep
Assist with general farm duties as needed, depending on season and workload
Qualifications:
Ag bacPrior experience operating farm equipment
Basic mechanical skills (ability to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on farm equipment)
Strong work ethic and willingness to work extended hours during peak seasons
Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
Valid driver's license required; CDL is a plus
