Job Description

Overview Join our team that serves the east end- NORTH
AND SOUTH
Forks- of Long Island as a Landscape Irrigation Troubleshooter and Laborer, where your expertise will directly impact the beauty and health of outdoor spaces. In this role, you'll be responsible for diagnosing and repairing irrigation systems. This is an energetic position perfect for individuals eager to apply their mechanical knowledge and hands-on skills to create thriving, vibrant landscapes. Your proactive approach will help ensure irrigation systems operate efficiently. Duties Troubleshoot and repair irrigation systems, identifying issues with valves, controllers, pipes, and sprinklers using hand tools and power tools. Conduct routine inspections of irrigation components to prevent malfunctions and optimize water efficiency. Use mechanical skills to replace or upgrade irrigation parts, ensuring systems meet landscape needs. Maintain detailed records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities to ensure system longevity and compliance with standards. Experience Prior experience working with irrigation systems, lawn care, or landscape maintenance is highly preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge related to plumbing, low-voltage electrical components of irrigation controllers, or small engine repair. Hands-on familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and landscape construction equipment. Knowledge of horticulture principles to support healthy plant growth and landscape aesthetics. Ability to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently while maintaining safety standards on-site. Previous work in construction or landscaping environments demonstrating adaptability and physical stamina. Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
