Grain Receiving House Operator

The Birkett Mills is seeking a Grain Receiving Operator. This role offers the opportunity to train alongside experienced employees and build a long-term career in grain handling and plant operations, with opportunities for advancement within our operations team. Responsibilities Unload and inspect incoming grain shipments Operate grain-handling equipment Maintain delivery records and related paperwork Work with farmers, truck drivers, and plant personnel Coordinate grain receiving and storage activities Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Mechanical aptitude required Experience operating equipment or performing hands-on mechanical work helpful but not required — training provided Agricultural or farm experience a plus CDL a plus Work Environment Work involves grain-handling equipment in a plant and outdoor environment and may include occasional lifting, climbing ladders, and exposure to dusty conditions. Schedule Typical schedule is Monday-Friday day shift schedule. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required during harvest or busy periods. Pay & Benefits $18-$23 per hour based on experience Overtime opportunities and a full line of benefits (i.e. medical, dental, vision, 401k, etc.).
