Overview Join our dynamic agricultural team as a Farm Worker and be a vital part of cultivating, maintaining, and caring for a diverse farm environment. You'll engage in a variety of tasks that keep the farm running smoothly, from operating heavy machinery to caring for animals, all while contributing to sustainable farming practices. Duties Assist with planting, cultivating, irrigating, and harvesting crops using farm machinery and hand tools. Operate heavy equipment such as tractors, forklifts, and other power tools safely and efficiently. Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment, including welding and equipment repair tasks. Support greenhouse operations and horticultural activities to promote healthy plant growth. Maintain accurate records of farm activities, logs, and equipment maintenance schedules. Qualifications Prior supervising experience or leadership roles on a farm or agricultural setting is preferred. Mechanical knowledge with experience operating farm machinery, heavy equipment, forklifts, power tools, and hand tools. Experience with irrigation systems, greenhouse management, and horticulture is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate heavy machinery confidently. Basic math skills Familiarity with farming practices including crop growing techniques and sustainable agriculture methods. Welding experience is a plus; must be comfortable performing minor repairs on equipment.
