Responsibilities Assist with planting, cultivating, pruning, and harvesting crops in greenhouse or field settings Operate farm machinery such as tractors, tillers, and irrigation systems to support farming activities Maintain landscape features including mowing, trimming, planting, and soil preparation using hand tools and power tools Care for animals on the farm by feeding, grooming, handling, and monitoring their health and well-being Perform equipment repairs, welding, and routine maintenance on tools and machinery to ensure optimal operation Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules for crops and landscaping areas Support heavy lifting tasks involving soil bags, plants, equipment parts, or animal supplies Skills Supervising experience or ability to oversee team tasks efficiently Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting farm machinery and equipment repairs Animal husbandry skills including animal care and handling of livestock such as horses or other farm animals Experience operating heavy equipment like forklifts and other power tools safely and effectively Knowledge of farming practices, agriculture techniques, horticulture, and greenhouse management Ability to perform basic math for measurements, calculations related to planting or feeding schedules Familiarity with irrigation systems, greenhouse environments, and growing techniques Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and outdoor labor in various weather conditions Skilled in using hand tools for maintenance or landscape projects Experience with welding or minor equipment repairs is a plus This role is ideal for motivated individuals who thrive outdoors, enjoy working with animals and machinery alike, and are eager to develop their skills in farming and landscaping.
