Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and dependable Agricultural Equipment Operator/ CDL Driver to join our dynamic farming team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of farm machinery and heavy equipment, transporting agricultural products and supplies safely across the farm and surrounding areas, and supporting animal husbandry activities. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help ensure smooth daily operations, efficient equipment use, and the well-being of livestock. Responsibilities Safely operate heavy farm machinery including tractors, harvesters, irrigation systems, and other specialized equipment to support planting, cultivating, harvesting, and maintenance activities Drive CDL trucks to transport crops, livestock feed, supplies, and equipment between farm locations and external vendors or markets Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and minor repairs on farm machinery and equipment using hand tools, power tools, welding techniques, and basic mechanical knowledge Assist with animal husbandry tasks such as feeding, watering, handling livestock including horses or other animals, ensuring their health and safety Supervise or assist with farm labor teams during planting, harvesting, or animal care activities to ensure safety protocols are followed Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, maintenance schedules, crop yields, and animal health data Support setup manure systems setup and management to meet CAFO regulations. Skills Proven experience operating heavy farm machinery and equipment such as tractors, harvesters, forklifts, manure systems, and power tools Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues and performing repairs or welding as needed Hands-on experience with animal husbandry including animal handling, care routines, and basic transporting knowledge. Supervising experience in agricultural settings is preferred to coordinate team efforts effectively Familiarity with farming practices including crop planting, harvesting and manure management. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate CDL trucks confidently for transportation needs Basic math skills for measuring inputs like fertilizer or feed quantities accurately Knowledge of manure systems management and general farm maintenance procedures Join us in cultivating a thriving agricultural environment where your skills make a real impact! Pay:
$25.00 - $28.00 per hour
