Irrigation Tech

Oceanview Landscapes is looking for a reliable, hands-on Irrigation Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining irrigation systems across high-end residential properties. We're looking for someone who can think independently in the field, take ownership of their work, and consistently deliver high-quality results. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair irrigation system issues (leaks, valves, wiring, controllers, pressure problems, etc.) Perform system start-ups, winterizations, and seasonal maintenance Locate and repair underground issues, including valve boxes and pipe breaks Program and troubleshoot irrigation controllers (Hunter, Rain Bird, etc.) Ensure proper system coverage and efficiency across properties Communicate clearly with team members and report issues as needed Maintain organized service records and job notes Operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently Qualifications 2+ years of irrigation experience preferred Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Experience with common irrigation systems and controllers (Hunter, Rain Bird, Toro, etc.) Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls Valid driver's license required Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and long hours during peak season
