Job Description:
We are seeking detail-oriented and motivated Cannabis Post-Harvest Technicians to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the cannabis industry and a keen eye for quality. This role involves working closely with our cultivation and production teams to ensure the efficient and effective processing of our cannabis plants from harvest to the final product.
Key Responsibilities:
Trimming:
Perform precise trimming of cannabis flowers to ensure a consistent and high-quality product.
Product Manufacturing :
Create different product type such as eighths, pre-rolls, blunts, solventless jars, vapes, edibles and others.
Drying and Curing:
Monitor and manage the drying and curing process, maintaining optimal conditions to preserve the quality and potency of the cannabis.
Quality Control:
Inspect and assess cannabis products for quality, ensuring they meet company standards and regulatory requirements.
Packaging:
Assist in packaging finished products, ensuring accuracy and compliance with labeling and packaging standards.
Sanitation:
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the post-harvest areas, adhering to strict hygiene and safety protocols.
Record-Keeping:
Accurately document processes, including weights, strains, and batch numbers, ensuring traceability and compliance, as requested by the compliance department.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in horticulture, agriculture, or a related field is a plus. Previous experience in cannabis cultivation or post-harvest processing is preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment. Good manual dexterity and ability to handle delicate products with care. Basic understanding of cannabis strains, cultivation processes, and industry regulations is a plus. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational and communication skills.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, sit, and/or walk for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Comfortable working in environments with varying temperatures and humidity levels.
